Media and its Impact

This training will provide information on the various forms of media and how it can be used to effect change positively and negatively. Participants will gain information on current research on media’s positive influence and negative influence. Participants’ objectives are:
1)    Identify different media influences and opportunities
2)    Describe how media can be used as a tool to educate and how it influences our behaviors and choices
3)    Apply information from class to produce a media campaign to influence healthy behaviors.
